Practice Essentials for Support & Ease

At Yoga Union, we believe the tools we bring into our practice shape the way we experience it. Props are simple, thoughtful essentials that support rest, ease, and presence, both on and off the mat. They help you soften, slow down, and reconnect with your body in a more supported way.

Whether used in your own practice or chosen for someone you care about, these items are designed to bring more comfort, more ease, and more space to simply be. Props are not about doing more, they are about allowing more. They create space where the body feels held, reduce effort in long-held poses, and offer support where it’s needed most, gradually transforming your practice from something you do into something you feel supported within.

In our boutique, you’ll find a curated selection of props from Love My Mat, B Halfmoon, lululemon, and other aligned brands, chosen to support your practice in simple, intentional ways. Each piece is chosen to help you feel more supported, more comfortable, and more connected in your practice.

Our studio selection includes:

Bolsters (including mini Prana bolsters): Used in restorative and Yin practices, bolsters support the body in fully relaxed positions. They help reduce muscular effort, encourage deeper release, and allow the nervous system to settle more easily.

Yoga Prop Bags: Designed to carry all your essentials, these spacious bags make it easy to bring your practice with you. They support organization and accessibility so your props are always ready when you need them.

Knee Pillows: Soft support for the joints in floor-based practice. Knee pillows reduce pressure in postures like low lunge, tabletop, and restorative shapes, allowing longer, more comfortable holds.

Yoga Straps: Straps help extend reach and support alignment, especially in tight or less accessible shapes. They create space in the body without force, making postures more accessible and sustainable.

Cork Rollers: Used for myofascial release and recovery, cork rollers help release tension in the muscles and support circulation. A simple tool for post-practice care and nervous system reset.

Blocks: Blocks bring the ground closer to you, supporting alignment, balance, and stability. They make poses more accessible and allow you to meet your body where it is without strain.

Eye Masks: Used during rest and Savasana, eye masks help signal the nervous system to soften. They reduce sensory input and support deeper relaxation and rest.

Blankets: Blankets offer warmth, grounding, and support in both active and restorative practice. They can be folded to support the body or used for comfort in stillness and meditation.
