Natasha Yoga Union

Natasha

Natasha fainted after her first hot class!  Years later, when her vehicle was struck by a drunk driver, doctors warned she likely would not walk unassisted again.  From her wheelchair, she began every morning with pranayama breathing and seated half moon.  After a few weeks, she regained mobility and begged for permission to return to the hot room.  A couple of years later she attended "Yoga Camp" (Bikram Yoga College of India).

The accident taught her to appreciate every moment.  Yoga taught her to quiet her mind and surrender to stillness.  Yoga continues to offer lessons in empathy, forgiveness, gratitude, and love.  Natasha still does not like to look at herself in the mirror, but she knows she is a work in progress . . . and yoga taught her that too.
